I feel like this site is just one big puzzle...every little piece counts. Even if it's just a middle initial, it is one more step to completing that one memorial puzzle. Feel free to submit edits or make suggestions on any that I have created.

I found this site when I created a memorial and it didn't take but a few months for someone to submit an edit with the correct info. I was very thankful. I realized there's a lot of other people that are searching so I decided to do my part.

The information I enter is usually gained from old newspaper obituaries and/or articles. Sometimes the family info is a combination of different family members obits. Sometimes obits do not mention place of interment. I search for the family name, county they died in and use the cemetery that was used by family members during that time frame. I'm sorry if you don't agree with my methods but at least that gives a family member a place to start. They now have a date and a county to possibly find a death certificate.

Your tombstone stands among the rest,
neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out
on polished, marble stone.

It reaches out to all who care;
it is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist;
you died, and I was born.

Yet each of us are cells of you,
