Bio and Links
Bio Photo Member of Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Inc. (CSG), Concord Historical Society (VT), and Lyndon Historical Society (VT). Born in Mass., Connecticut resident and married since 1972 with 2 sons (who are now 21 & 22 years old as of 2016). I've been avidly researching since Jan. 1989, working on my maternal and paternal lines, as well as my husband's maternal and paternal lines. Discovering burial places of our relatives & friends had always been difficult - until this wonderful website was created. Countless volunteers are quickly adding information & photos, which immensely increases our chances of finding them.

Peter Liberty transfer
Hi Donna, more than happy to transfer! Glad he is with family! I was going to add photos of the stone, but then realized you may have your own. If you don't let me know and I will add them.

Happy New Year!

RE: Calvary Cem., Massena
Ok I did some checking. Ernest who u do not see here was 3rd son of Frank A and Elizabeth M Hammill Peets. His Eldest brother Lawrence died in 1970 at 64yrs. Second son was WIlliam who died at age 13yrs in 1920. Frances was wife to Lawrence, she was a Fregoe. Ernest's wife was Evelyn Frances LaBarge who later married again to Stuart Riley. I really wish they had a marker for Ernest. They may have at one time I am not sure. I do hope this helps! ~ Serena

RE: Calvary Cem., Massena
Hi, yes, the Church records I looked at stated Ernest was buried with all boys in one coffin at this site. However there are no markings to verify this at grave site. I was following Church records only. There are a few foot stones around this site, all of which are either grown over or no longer legible. I am disturbed by this as well and therefore I have been doing my own family research. I will let u know what I find. Serena

RE: Re: Gregoria Macias
Hi Donna,
Thank for your prompt reply, I don't know if you knew their family situation. All the boys and one sister grew up all over the place. When I found the oldest Amador, he told me where Enrigue was last. I found out right away thru searching that Domingo had passed away and off course none of them knew. Even the Ortegas, that were so close to the Ortizs knew. My next question is did Domingo and his wife have any children? Could you tell me where is Domingo buried?
Again, thanks,

Re: Gregoria Macias
Hi Donna,
Would you please shed some light on your relationship to Gregoria. As far as I know according to Enrigue one of her sons, there was no living family besides another son and a one daughter Eloisa. So, it would be nice to able to tell Enrigue, he had other families that knew his mom.
Would appreciate a reply.
(Lily, to family).

RE: Long Society Cong. Burying Ground
You're welcome. Wish we could resolve the date problem. I'm looking for more documents, but the Long Society early documents were lost.
