I am a mother of two and the grandmother of seven. I live in the panhandle of Florida and have been interested in genealogy for about fifteen years. It is a hobby that is addictive. I had the fortune and misfortune to be stationed with my family in Germany just a few miles from where my ancestors came from, unfortunately I did not know it at the time.
I also feel that I was born in the wrong time period, I have always loved History and now that I am older I get to live our American History. I love to go to and participate in Rendezvous. For those who do not know what a Rendezvous is, you camp in canvas tents and nothing can be of modern day, if you do use something it must be hidden to anyone walking by you site.
