Bio

I am the mom of two great boys, one living and one an angel...before my son Chris took sick, I worked in Homecare as a Personal Support Worker, and cared for many of my fellow Auroran's in their own home...I tried to continue working in the early stages of Chris's cancer diagnosis but the disease would not give Chris a break, I became the 24 hour primary caregiver, patient advocate and very proud mom of a young teen that fought like hell to live...
The ultimate loss is the loss of a child, there is nothing on earth that compares...
Chris and Fraser grew up first in Oak Ridges, and then we moved to Aurora, so I am at least thankful that Chris is now laid to rest between the two towns that he grew up in....
We have moved about an hours drive away, but Fraser still is in York Region, working hard and I am so very proud of his strength for pulling through this emotional upheaval in his young life...
I raised two very well adjusted lads...and I am forever grateful they are in my life, even if one is only in spirit...

When I am at the Aurora Cememtary visiting Chris, especially during hot weather, I do my best to water other people flowers, I know that because I can't be there everyday now, since we've moved, how much thinking that the plants I grow gasping for water during the summer really bothers me...so, that is something that makes me feel better, watering other flowers for those that can't get there as often as they'd like to visit their loved one. I suppose you could call it a Random Act of Kindness....
Christophers great passion in life was skateboarding...he missed that the most
