I started researching my family history in 1997. I have been successful thanks to websites such as this and raogk.org (Random Acts of Genealogy Kindness). After hitting dead ends in my research I decided to do what I could to help others. I have transcribed several area cemeteries and posted them on the usgenweb.org website. I also do lookups and photo requests. The resources I use are: Minnesota Counties: Big Stone (county history book, plat maps), Lac Qui Parle (some biographies) and Chippewa (some biographies). South Dakota Counties: Grant (book with biographies, plat maps).
My goal is to transfer memorials to family members.
