Bio Photo Thank you to all who contribute their time and talent to this important resource.

I do transfers under Findagrave guidelines. If you are not familiar with the guidelines please do review them. I am not likely to make a transfer without specifics that fall in those guidelines--in keeping with a system of fairness.

If you would like me to add an obituary please provide a transcription.

I also appreciate specific sources when sent information to update a bio. We are building something special and 'facts' need to be verifiable.

And please, if you send a transcribed obituary or news item--please provide the source.

An impressive genealogist honor code is found at the link below--I agree with it!

Dr. John Glasgow Kerr
Yes, there is a lot of information about him on the web (Google search). I assume you are trying to find his place of burial?

RE: Blackmer info
Hi Russ,

I do! I found an obituary this morning in The Advocate and Democrat, Marysville, KS, dated 10 Oct 1907 that said that she had died Tuesday (which would be the 8th of October). Here is a link to the page:

I appreciate your caution with the edits. That was a whopper.

RE: Edits at St. Adalbert's - Niles
Hi Russ,

It's no trouble. I've been trying to photograph large portions of that cemetery when I visit. I have a few 3rd and 4th Great-Grandparents over in section 2 (behind the Hala mausoleum) that I visit once or twice a year. I'm normally down at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice because all of my grandparents, great-grandparents, and many additional family members are down there. I've seen your name on many of the memorials I edit and/or have a photo of a marker for; thank you for helping as well.

Have a nice weekend.

Edits at St. Adalbert's - Niles
Hi Russ,

In regards to the dozens of edits I've recently sent your way: they can be confirmed by the marker pictures I've uploaded and/or the Cook Co. death records index.

Thank you,

RE: Lt. Norman Lyle Jr.
Done! Thanks for letting me know. Are you in anyway connected to Lt. Lyle? I have more info and stuff about him, as he was best buddies with a young Bombardier who died during a bombing mission with my GGGUncle.

Hi Russ,
I found some photos in a thrift store, and have been tracing the family to upload them to Find A Grave. I didn't realize that you had already put a monument up.
For the sake of removing duplicates, I am happy to transfer mine to you if you would like.
This is the one I did
