Bio

I've been active in genealogy since 1996 and I'm still at it.
I've never been comfortable sharing my genealogical info with sites that charge for access, but I am comfortable with Find A Grave, and their relationship with Ancestry.
For the past few years, I have been working to link family members' existing memorials together. Occasionally, a person necessary to link generations is not buried where we expect them. Maybe they opted for cremation, or the family becomes "disconnected" by events or circumstances. Remains are unclaimed. I feel these people deserve to be remembered and honored with a memorial, necessarily marked: Burial Details unknown. If I ask for edits to link to these memorials, I hope you will indulge me with the knowledge that I am just trying to complete a picture with a tidbit of missing info that could be supplied in the future, and that I am not just trying to pad my contribution stats. I always search until my head hurts.
"Find A Grave is not a genealogical site", but it is.
