I was born in Calhoun Co. MS to Rubert L. Kimbrell and Alice E. (Johnson) Kimbrell. I attended school in Ellard, MS,Houston,TX,Bruce, MS and Memphis, TN, where I graduated from South Side High in 1955. After graduation I moved to MO with my husband, Donald R. Williford, who was also raised in Bruce, MS and have lived in Desloge, MO since 1960. I served as City Clerk in Desloge from 1972 thru 1978, then as Clerk of the Circuit Court for St. Francois Co. for the next 30 yrs., both of which were elective positions. I love world travel, having visited 6 continents and over 30 countries and taking thousands of photos. Since retirement, my passion has been genealogy and enjoy hearing from people all over the country who are related to me in some way, either by blood or marriage. I make frequent trips thru the South, "digging up dead people" and visiting relatives.
