My wife started doing genealogy about 1969. It took me several years to get bit by the bug, but it happened. In my younger days, you could not catch me dead in a cemetery. However, after starting genealogy, I've walked through many cemeteries in many different states looking for ancestors. There is a lot of history in a cemetery. Unfortunately, I have found only 2 graves of my forefathers beyond my Grandparents.

After doing genealogy with my wife for many years, a cousin joined us on a couple of trips. Together, we discovered who our 3GGF CANNON was. It was she that introduced me to "Find A Grave". I became excited about the concept when I found my Mother's Mother's Sister buried about 2 miles from where I live. I would never have found it without "Find A Grave".

So now it's my turn to try and contribute. I have no preconceived notions of how to approach this other than adding what I can and hope it helps someone else.
