We enjoy exploring and documenting cemeteries, and feel it is important to preserve them through this site, before time takes its toll. We have seen so many cemeterys trod upon freely by cattle, neglected and vandalized. We don't mind at all to transfer a memorial to a family member or a loved one who wishes to maintain their loved ones site, unless they are one of our kinfolk. We think this is a wonderful way to remember those who have gone on before us and preserve that memory for generations to come.
A note to the purists. i have several photos that were taken years ago, before flouring was banned. I was given access to hundreds of photos from a now defunct website, that hosted grave memorials. I have been adding them, as I can, and finally finished a couple of years ago. I occasionally get a self righteous message regarding the floured stones. I have never chalked a stone and have not used flour in about 10 years. I do feel that since these photos exist, that until a better one comes available, that they should be used, as stones get destroyed by nature and time. So please refrain from admonishing me for something I already know. I only want to preserve what we can for future generations.
