Bio Photo Hi all :) I'm a native Michigander, a history nut especially Michigan and European history. I love cemetery art and genealogy and love to wander cemeteries for the peace, history and the beautiful sculpture. Mama to many beautiful babies. Lucky to have 2 gorgeous little girls that god blessed me to keep and raise. The rest are in paradise with my Mama.

RE: Wonderful!
Not sure if there were photos on the wall at Dearborn High. The old Dearborn High was closed when it moved to its present location. I don't see why there could not have been photos of this area's first pioneers on the walls because the name of their sports teams are The Pioneers. I do know that the Garden City Historical people have some things on the Lathers, a letter that one man wrote home to Ireland.

RE: Lathers descendant
Hello. No I am not a descendant but I am a volunteer in the archives at the Dearborn Historical Museum. I am trying to go through our family photo donations and add them to Find A Grave. I think it makes it nice for people to click on and see people in the photos.

RE: Thank you again
You are welcome. I did notice that she died young, so you probably do resemble her in your mom's memory.

Virginia Monteleone
Hi LoriAnn
I called springvale and talked to the director; message to message. Couldn't manage to talk in person. He went out and took a pic of the spot in is hopefully sending it to me via email. He said the said her grave site is just to the right of Billy Nelson with his parents just to the left of him. I hope to get over there to take a pic myself.
Hope this helps fill in any gaps in information that you may have.

RE: Thank you
Hi again
When I went back to the cemetery list of requests, Virginia was not there. Did someone remove her name? I can't report back without it. I can go find her findagrave listing to place a picture if I manage to get one. Thanks

RE: Thank you
Hi LoriAnne
I had not responded yet to findagrave about trying to take a picture of Virginia's gravesite. I saw that there was already listed "a problem" taking a picture but claimed it anyway. Who told you there was no stone. That was going to be my next move; contact the cemetery and see if records showed the position in relation to other stones. Sometimes that is a good way to take a picture of the site if not the stone. I have been out of town for a week so I probably have lost the assignment for credit, but that doesn't matter to me, but someone else might come along and be trying to take pictures as well. I haven't reported yet a second "problem". Thanks for your nice note

RE: Thank you
You are so welcome. I just wish we didn't have to honor our Mom's this way.
