I am married with one son living in Northborough, MA. I have enjoyed genealogy all my life but I have gotten more involved with it since 1999. I found findagrave.com very helpful in finding family groups. My family is from NJ and SC so I can't get to the cemeteries myself. I really wanted to find a way to give back, so I decided to volunteer to take pictures of headstones in my area. I love cemeteries and being outside. I also live in an area with many very old graves. My concern is that many of these stones are becoming illegible and if someone doesn't record them now, they will be lost forever. I am especially committed to making notes of the epitaphs.
