Bio

It is about time I enter my bio information, I've been on this site for many years and not done that, sorry!
I have tracked my Bicknese line back to the mid 1600's. My main interest here is to connect all Bicknese' and it's working. only 5 branches (now 3, as of Sept 2012, 2 more branches connected) ones that I've not found a common link!
The Rogers family of Ellejoy, Blount Co., Tennessee is another family line, starting with Willoughby Rogers 1757-1828.
My Davis family line is another question. In Blount Co. TN, my Davis line is as far back as I have been able to go. The handed down name of Fieldson Davis is where it stops. There has been a finding of a paper trail to a Richman Davis of the same period. There has been DNA testing done and there is a family in Manchester, Coffee Co., Tennessee that is a match. But I do not have the common link, YET! But I'm working on that.
On my mothers side of the family my interest lie in the Long, Horner, Birkett, Boots, Engle, Manifold, McMullen families, plus many more as the line goes back in time. It does take long to find you have 64 pair of grand parents.
Enjoy your searching and let me know if I can help with yours!
