RE: FRANCIS MARION BABB
Thank you for linking Francis to Elijah. The only thing I had doubts about was his birthdate being off a few years from census records. There it appears he would have been born in 1858 which does look right from his parents marriage date of 1856. He was oldest of their five (all I've found) sons but I went with this link.
Another odd thing about the dates for Francis is that the birth (1861)and death (1929) years are the same as those on the memorial for his brother, George M. (3rd in family) buried in the Osborn Prairie Cemetery in Fountain Co, IN.
I'm sure you've found that dates and/or names get changed down thru the generations but maybe I need to start requesting photos to see if any stones can be found to help clarify anything?
As for Lucinda, census looks like she went back to using her maiden name of Moore but other things don't seem right so I've been ignoring that.
Sorry, this note got longer than probably necessary but one question always leads to another?
Again, many thanks for your help and if you have any other input in the matter it would be great!

FRANCIS MARION BABB
Just curious and am sure you probably know best but I have a question regarding the declining of my suggestion that you link Francis Marion (Frank) Babb to his father Elijah Babb.
From census records I'm finding a Francis M. as son of Elijah & Lucinda (Moore) Babb. Elijah is buried in the Bend Cemetery in Fountain County, IN but her whereabouts unknown.
Census also shows their Francis M. as being married to a Effie Riley which corresponds with your memorial.
The BABB family is never-ending and some are being real difficult to track down. Many names are the same plus in the same areas of Indiana.
Just wondering if you can shed any light on this??? Thanks in advance for your time, I really appreciated it!
My line of the Babb family started in in England in the mid 1550s.

Would you object to me using the photo of the grave marker on Ancestry? I'll give you credit. At this point I am trying to confirm if she is the eldest daughter of my 3X great grandparents, John Kinner Joyce and Elizabeth Lake Dalton Joyce.

RE: William A. Jackson
Not a problem. I know I've messed up a few myself and had to change them. My motto is, "To err is human, but to really mess up you need a computer." Have a great day. Thanks for your help. Joyce

Rich - Thank you for the photo requests, note you need to add Margaret's last name on her memorial. Their plots will appear if you process your edits.
Thanks, Stephen

Houseweart line
I wrote to you ages ago as I was digging for information on my Jemima & Isaac Houseweart. Recently I have found information proving that Jemima's maiden name was Barton. Also I have proven Isaac's line back, through his mother's line....John Iliff. If you are interested in documentation I am willing to share.
