Bio

My ancestors settled in Bergen and Sussex counties, New Jersey, in the 17th and 18th centuries, where some descendants have remained to the present day. I grew up in Cambridge and Dedham, MA with one foot in Vermont. Until recently I lived in Amherst, MA, where my graving was concentrated in Hampshire and Franklin counties in the Connecticut river valley. I have recently moved to Woodstock, VT, with part of the summers in Greensboro, VT, so my graving will now be concentrated in Windsor, Orleans and Caledonia counties.

I welcome your corrections, as well as any additional information you can provide. I receive so many suggested edits that I cannot review them - I just don't have the time. One problem with submitted edits is that I no longer know if the information in a memorial represents my work. So, please get it right and remember, the memorial goes out over my name!

I am happy to transfer memorials if you are related. You are welcome to use any of my photos - I'd appreciate a credit. Thank you.

Family names of interest to me: Edsall, Tileston, Dunham, Cranford, Barton, DeKay, Foote, Lawrence, Linn, Morse, Noyes, Seeley, Tiffany, Woodhull.

I've used Find-a-Grave extensively in my own researches around the country, and benefitted greatly from it. My contributions to the website are a way of saying thank you.

I have concentrated on the following cemeteries, working systematically:
Holy Rosary (Hadley, MA)
Plainville (Hadley, MA)
Russellville (No. Hadley, MA)

Batchelder Road (Stannard, VT)
East Craftsbury (E. Craftsbury, VT)
Felchville (Reading, VT)
Gill (Hartland, VT)
Greensboro Village (Greensboro, VT)
Hardwick Center (Hardwick, VT)
