I have been doing genealogical research for over 30 years. I am a professional researcher, teacher and lecturer specializing in the District of Columbia, Northern New Jersey and Northern Virginia. In 1997, I completed the National Genealogical Society Home Study Course for which I am now a grader, and in 2000 I became a graduate of the National Institute for Genealogical Research, Washington, DC. I am a member of the National Genealogical Society, the Genealogical Society of New Jersey, Virginia Genealogical Society, Fairfax (VA) Genealogical Society (a past board member), the Mt. Vernon (VA) Genealogical Society (as past Secretary and currently chair of the Training and Education Committee) and a member of the Morris Area (NJ) Genealogical Society, the Bergen County Genealogical Society and the Passaic County Genealogical Society all in New Jersey.
