Edith Painter at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! Photos have been posted to her memorial.

Also there:

James T. Painter, Sr., 1918 - 1972

If you add a photo request for him I will post the photos that I took to his memorial.

RE: Samuel Whanger grave marker
You have been so kind! I have Samuel Whanger as having 9 kids in all. Nina's twin brother is buried with Sam's 1st wife at Salem Presbyterian Cem. I have Alice, Nina, Mabel, Harriet, Alfred and Edgar at Greenbrier Burial (thanks to you). No listings yet for Julian who died in 1992 or Ruth who died @ 2 yr old in 1906.
Since you mentioned you are from Hinton, can you tell me if you remember Avis dry cleaning? My grandfather Paul Reynolds owned it in the 1970s and I can't remember if it was in Hinton or Renick.

RE: Samuel Whanger grave marker
Thank you for the additional photos. I need to learn to wait until I have all the relations finished before I request a photo so I can ask for the whole family...but I look at the trees and forget the forest half the time. Thank you also for the personal insight - did you know that Nina was a twin? her brother died at birth

Thank you so much for the great photo. It is a blessing to have people such as yourself since I live over 500 miles from my ancestral roots.

Hampton Henry Lawhorn

Are you of any relation to the children of Hampton Henry Lawhorn? I see that you added the memorials for 3 of his children on this site.

We are trying to locate family members and Hampton Henry Lawhorn would have been related to us through his brother Sandy Berton Lawhorn.

We do not live in West Virginia and have only found very few records online.

Any information you could offer us would be very much appreciated.
