Bio

I am a professional genealogical researcher located in Frankfort, Kentucky. My interest in genealogy began as a young adolescent. I was the one in the family who spent time with the old folks and asked all the questions.

After years of researching my family lines the bug had bitten. In the early 1970's I was a volunteer in the Research Room of the KY Department for Libraries & Archives. Realizing I could be of benefit to others who were researching their family I began professional research in 1974. When the KYGenWeb was just a thought I was there and became a county coordinator for Franklin, Scott and Harrison counties.

My association with FAG began in 2007. I enter memorials for burials in the central Kentucky area.

IF YOU WISH a transfer of a memorial for someone please do not be rude or unfriendly. Explain your relationship and I will consider all request for transfers; however, I will follow FAG guideline - direct lineage, four generations. If my family member I will NOT transfer.

PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON if you have additional information to add to a memorial. If you believe an error has been made also use the edit to suggest a correction. PLEASE INCLUDE REFERENCE SOURCE OR PROOF FOR INFORMATION TO BE CORRECTED OR ADDED. EDITS MUST BE VERIFIED BEFORE CHANGES ARE MADE.

As a Find A Grave contributor please add all the information you can to the biography. If using a photograph which is not your possession remember to get permission or give credit to the owner. The memorial is a tribute to a person's life. It should NOT be just a number to help you become a top contributor. Always remember to check for existing memorials before adding a memorial so a duplicate is not created. If a duplicate is created the memorial with the lowest number is the first and original memorial.

PLEASE DO NOT leave biographical information and Obituaries in a virtual flower. Send them to me and I will add them in the Bio.

Find A Grave states a duplicate memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location.
