Fallen Graver

Sadly, Annette has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Bio

Like many others on Find A Grave I use SAC under edit for communications. This helps me stay on top of what is happening with memorials and other communications. This keeps down on unwanted emails and lost communications. I do respond. I am sorry if this is upsetting for some. This is how I keep my work, communications organized.

I have been passionately working on my family Genealogy for a great number of years.

I work on the edits a few days a month depending on my health issues.

U.S.Army Veteran 1977. South Carolina, Kentucky, & Germany. On my weekends, off I spent traveling. I was a cook. Changed MOS to Draftsman, Photography. Took Photos for Unit in Germany. I was honored to have served.

~*~If you are sending me an edit to change information on a memorial, please submit a verified source.
A source could be a document to verify the information. Send me a link. I really don't want your family's (.jpg) copy. Tell me how you got the information. You wouldn't want your research to be without sources.
Family history goes in bio's with your ID number,
Census records can be flawed but will be briefly mentioned in the bios when burial comes into question.
Birth, Marriage and Death date changes, will only happen with verified proof. This again would include the link of information.
Headstones help prove much information about the person. Please add a photo.~*~

I so appreciate those who have done this, it really makes a big difference on how long it takes to make the change.
If you are rude to me and not appreciate the memorial, I will not reply.

~~*~~ About Obits: I will not list full obits . I also will not list living names to protect their privacy. There have been car break-ins and home invasions while the family is in attendance. The more information you add to an memorial becomes a misuse of their name and information. I will list a full obit if its very old such as before 1940 and there is a good chance that the names listed are deceased. I will not contribute to the thieves who are doing this. Please reconsider how you post yours. ~~*~~
30 Oct 2020 Update
News articles on the internet on how the scammers are stealing money from the family's and the donations. Please type out the obit leaving out personal information, or living names, or I will ask for the obituary to be removed. This is serious stuff these scammers are doing. ~~*~~

It never astounds me how individuals working on Civil War Vets memorials. They acquire them by transfers when they are not directly related at all but just for the sake of collecting them. Then they want you to abide by the rules for asking for them. So by allowing them to collect them (like baseball cards) you're denying family members' actual families, no matter the connection, to care for them. Just my opinion. With that said, I will not transfer to those persons.

Matthew 5:8
