My maternal side is German (Mueller/Müller, Krueger, Benz, Kanz, Kuhlin) - I have hundreds of cousins. Most would be direct descendent from my 3rd great grandfather Ferdinand Benz 1816-1894. Most of those people lived in the Shawano County Wisconsin
area and had a lot of children because they were farmers.
