I have been active in genealogy since 1991 when I began a search of my own family. In 2001 I thought it was time to give back to the genealogical community and began a listing of the Nixon Cemetery, incorporating records from the Finch Funeral Home, and cross checking with the list of Marjorie Burnett which was recorded in 1980. Finally I did an every-grave (I hope) survey of the cemetery itself. With the help of Gaynelle Matthis, the list was typed, checked and re-checked. Are there still errors? Probably so.
