Congressional Cemetery. You requested photos of the other sides of the monument The other sides of the monument are for other folks buried there. I am adding them to the appropriate memorials. If you would like the photos please feel free to copy them or email me at ddooley@congressional cemetery.

Dear Therese,

I emailed you about this photo request, but thought I would post a message too... emails do go astray. Please let me know if I need to re-send the information.

Best wishes,

Mrs. Bee

St. Matthew's cemetery is no longer in existence. The final segment of the cemetery was dismantled in 1978. While the people were left buried where they were, the headstones were removed and the area left as a lawn or park area.

By the way...
I posted the photo of the stone and created a memorial page for Henry E. Horan just in case.

While I did not find a Harry Horan at St. Mary's Cemetery, I did locate a Henry E. Horan born December 25, 1898 and died January 17, 1957. Could this be the same person you are searching for or possibly a related person? This stone was in Section A of the cemetery.

Tombstone is very weathered so it is hard to read exactly what was written.
