Hi! Please feel free to use ANY photos or memorials I have uploaded for your own purposes. I claim no "copyright" to anything.

I am happy to be a CONTRIBUTOR and hope you find my information helpful. The essense of a contribution being, expecting nothing in return. And Find a Grave does call us CONTRIBUTORS!

I mean, really, it's not like I risked my life, or incurred much expense, or think you will use my data to profit from headstones photos, or even that I had a horribly bad time CONTRIBUTING to Find a Grave, is it? No! It has been a pleasure.

For those CONTRIBUTORS who have suffered in the process of CONTRIBUTING, to thine be the glory, you deserve all the attribution and recognition you can get, and I am sure it will be legion. It's just not my thing!

I hope my efforts will be helpful to EVERY one! And of course, additions or corrections are always welcome. Cheers from OKC!

Hello (distant) cousin
I'm your 5th cousin once removed. I do a lot of work on another site and had information that showed that you were still alive as of 2008. I was thrilled to find you on here purely by accident. I am descended from the Buxton family and connected to your Great-great-grandmother, Jane Buxton Bonham. Currently, I'm working on an exhaustive list of all descendants of Edmond and Lydia (Flinn) Buxton. Edmond was the first Buxton in our tree, to come to America. It's at 30 pages after 15 years of research. I would greatly enjoy sharing notes. Please feel free to contact me if you wish.

Hi Kent.

I believe I do have some documentation - a death record perhaps. I will search my records when I return home from my current trip.

I'm descended from his oldest child - Effie Anna.

I believe Jessie was his third wife. My records show he married Mary Isabelle Crosby (widow of William Crosby) then Mary Elizabeth Crosby (oldest daughter of William and Mary - his stepdaughter), then Jessie.

I have at least one picture of Jessie if you'd be interested.

Thanks for your message!

Ellis Dale Mauk
Hi Kent,

I just wanted to ask you if you would delete the photo of the grave stone that you added to Ellis Dale Mauk's memorial. It just looks bad with 2 photos of the same thing. If you delete your photo and the add an up to date photo with the new info. on it, I will send anonymous a message to delete theirs so that yours can stay on there. I'm sure anonyomous would delete theirs because you created the memorial, and your photo will probably look better. Theres is really blurry. It's just a suggestion. I just wanted the memorial to look good.

RE: The Mauks
Hi Kent,

I was wondering if you knew if there were any Masons in the Mauk family? I can't hardly believe that Vadna & Lester died so young. Do you know the story behind that? Also,... I was wondering what the main religion/faith was running thru that family line. I was also wondering if you had any pictures of Vadna's sister Beulah Mauk? I would be interested in talking to you about the Mauk family thru emails, ... you can just email me directly if you want. I hope to hear back from you soon.

Wanza Good

My husband's maternal grandmother was Beulah Mauk.

I have the copies of the Masonic paper work you had sent to me when we corresponded back when you transferred her memorial. Thank you!
I will email the photos to you.

RE: Mary Elizabeth Mun Dillon
I have located a few photos of Mary. Would you like for me to email the to you?
I noticed you originally created her memorial and then transferred it to me. Thank you!

RE: Mary Elizabeth Mun Dillon
Yes, she was my g-grandmother. Second marriage to my g-grandfather Gideon Canfield. They had two children, Clarissa and my grandfather, George.
I have no photos of her and John Dillon but I will locate photos of her from Canfield family and get back to you if you like.
