Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in Newhall, California and started doing genealogy research with my Aunt Nelle in the 1980's. I also love antiques and usually take a camping trip in the summer to do research work and search for treasures. Both are never ending projects and lots of fun. Am happy to take photos of headstones in the Eternal Valley Cemetery in Newhall and Santa Paula Cemetery in Santa Paula.

Please email me with any corrections to the information that I post on memorials. Most of the memorials I post are not my direct family, and I will happily transfer memorials that are unrelated to me to ANY family member that requests it. I do not "own" these memorials, and love to see them connected to the families they belong with.

*** While I love photos of people added to the memorials, I prefer not to add a copy of the death certificate. I usually have looked at the certificates and have added any information found there to the memorial and don't see a need for a photo of that to be posted. Thank you for understanding and not adding photos of the certificates to memorials I have posted. Missouri death certificates are free on the Missouri State site and are easily referenced.***

Find A Grave is a wonderful site, and I am so grateful that it exists so we can share information with each other!

Micaela Amador Reyes
My wife's grandmother, Micaela Amador Aguilar Reyes) was buried in a pauper's grave in Santa Paula CA. My wife and her sister had a marker placed on the gravesite, but last time we were at the Santa Paula cemetery we were not able to find it. Micaela Reyes died in childbirth at Rancho Sespe, at the age of 14. The child that she did have was my mother-in-law, Eugenia Reyes Preciado (1909-1984). She had 7 children. Her father, Esteban Reyes (1888-1939), remarried and had 2 additional daughters.
The photo of Micaela Reyes' marker that you placed in Find-A-Grave is very significant to my wife and her siblings. If possible, can you forward a copy to Thank you.

Edna Viola Manley
I wanted to let you know the cemetery location for Edna Viola Manley is in-correct. She is actually in the Sandridge Cemetery, Benton Township, Cedar County, Mo. I located her headstone, along with her sister, Ada Manley's field rock, with her name carved on it, next to each other, over Memorial weekend. I started a new memorial for Edna, along with her headstone photo; also added a photo of Ada's field rock to her memorial. Their mother was Lillie (Cargill) Manley, my grandfather's sister. Lillie was my great aunt and Edna & Ada were my 2nd cousins. According to Ada's MO death certificate, it lists her as being born April 6, 1910; but I feel like this could be a typo, since Edna's DC states she was born May 6, 1910, as well as her headstone states May 6th. Thank you for your time. Jan (Cargill) Dwerlkotte

There should be a way to send a virtual bouquet of flowers to kind and generous Find A Gravers - that would be you!
Thank you for making the extra effort take and post these photos. ~~Kay
