Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm mostly involved in loading memorials and pictures for members of my family tree. In the process of working family, I'll get involved with memorials and add pictures of people who are close to my tree or who's grave site is physically close to a member of my tree.

I'm liberal in transferring memorials. I'm happy to transfer memorials when the person is a family member of yours and not a family member of mine.

Happy Ancestor Hunting!!

RE: James Maxwell 128223627
Hello Richard, thank you for writing.. I see we are definitely connected via the Springer line, however, I am trying to figure out if you are also via Maxwell. I see you have 2 seperate Elizabeth Maxwell's. What is interesting to me is that my father, followed by me has tried to figure out the Morrison connection. We know we have one, there was a Morrison family with at least 5 boys, close in age, whom all looked very similiar to each other. Somewhere I have their names written down, I will have to dig it out, but the thing is, I am Maxwell on my fathers side, and Springer on my mothers...we are certainly cousins though at the least!

Your Welcome.... glad I could help :) Sarah's memorial is there also, so you can link to her as well.
Do you know or have had any communication with David Cook Cattell? If not, you should :) His information is on Enion's memorial... I may have a phone number.
Blessings,
L

Laura Pauline Pancoast
Hi,

I received your edit request regarding Laura's birthdate. I think this may be an example of the problem you referred to regarding death certificates. Although hers gives the 26th as her birthdate, earlier "church and town" records give the 29th in at least 3 cases.

I see that you don't have those records attached to your her in your tree, but you can easily find them by doing a search on her.

I'm inclined to believe those previous records over the death certificate. Once you get a chance to look at them, let me know if you agree that the correct date is probably the 29th.

Hi
Hi Richard! Hope things are going well for you :-)
Let me look more at the edit you sent me for May Furlong Epler. I am not sure that John was her husband. Rose

RE: Susan Osborn Pancoast 13815838
Thanks for the info and the link to your tree. I had Henry twice (once under his middle name) as both Carrie and Susan's child, so I've merged them into one son of Seth and Susan.

I won't be doing a whole lot more with the Osborns, as I was really just researching the mystery of the two Peter Osborn memorials on Find A Grave. It appears the Peter Osborn who was the subject of the photo request was a duplicate, thought to be a different person due to records of his removal from elsewhere to West Laurel Hill being misinterpreted.

I also was trying to connect and add any info I could to the memorials of the other Osborn relations in the plot I photographed. Unlike what I'm used to for most of my own ancestors, so many records are available online for Philadelphia area people, it's relatively easy to keep and expanding a tree!

I still have a few more photos and details to post for the Osborns (Saunders & George, too), but have been neglecting my own family trees as well as other responsibilities, so I'll have to postpone that a bit. But, if you get a chance, check back in a few weeks and let me know if you see any errors on what I've added.

RE: Susan Osborn Pancoast 13815838
yes, that Philadelphia Monthly Meeting record is the one I was going by as well.

I've found death certificates can be very helpful. But yeah, you've got to verify with other records, as the informant doesn't always provide accurate info. But then, that's true with most sources.

I still haven't got straight the order of Seth Pancoast's three wives and who was mother to which of the children.

I think Sarah Osborn was his first wife and mother of Ada (Ida), Sallie, and Laura. Is that correct?

RE: Susan Osborn Pancoast 13815838
Hi, thanks for letting me know.

Were you able to find a record of removal? Having seen of interment for her both at Woodlands and Darby, but not for a removal, I'm still curious what happened.

The great thing about researching people in the Philadelphia area is that so much info is available online. But that doesn't mean there aren't still a lot of mysteries from the past!
