I began doing genealogy in the 1970's. I started when there was no internet and we were writing info on spread charts. I had started on my family (McGrede/Killingsworth/Maxson)when I married and inherited Rhoades/Gries/Allwardt. Now having remarried, I have Martinez/Garcia. From Georgia to California, Michigan to Illinois, and Colorado to New Mexico and Mexico there is never a dull moment in doing genealogy. I volunteered for photo taking when I realized that I have taken advantage of so many taking photos that I needed for my work and needed to pay back...so I will gather my tablet, oxygen bottle and head out for a new challenge.
