Janie Kerns
I am writing in reference to my paternal grandmother, Janie Kerns (1985-1950). Her given name is actually Sarah Jane Clark Jones Kerns. Siblings are Calvin Clark, George Ellis Clark (1887-1933), Mary Alice Clark Blevins (1891-1991) and Bessie Isabele Clark Lefford (1893-1923), Martha Calrk, and James Clark. Parents were Robert E. Clark (1867-1897) and Mary Livingston Burley Clark (1862-1929).

Her first husband was Samuel Oceolo Jones 1885-1907) and their son, George Samuel Jones (1906-1978) lived with Janie and her subsequent children with Jacob William Kerns (1889-1951).

I would appreciate it if you could add this info to my grandmother's Find a Grave Page.

RE: Photo request
Thanks for the info. The website doesn't appear to be working right now but hopefully I will be able to access it in the near future.

Edith Stanley Pearson - Incorrect birth month
The gravestone photo for Edith S Pearson shows she was born in the month of Sep. The added information for the index shows born in the month of Aug, which does not match the gravestone.

Do you do a lot of work in Lawrence, KS? I am specifically looking for photos of my second great grandparents, who both died in Lawrence. Joseph G Sullivan was a stone mason who did much work on the U of KS, Lawrence, during it's construction. He died July 19, 1916. His wife, Margaret Sullivan was killed by a tornado on April 13, 1911. One of their sons, William R Sullivan, is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Sec.4. Memorial# 26774751, but I don't find his parents there. I have not been able to find them anywhere in my search in all of Kansas & Missouri, but since they lived and died in Lawrence, I can't imagine they would be interred anywhere else. Do you have any suggestions? Or is it possible you could get photos of the headstone?

Thanks so much! Terry Sullivan
