I attended the University of Georgia six years and worked at the Georgia Museum of Art on the UGA campus. I have been a past vice-President and President of the Fannin County Heritage Foundation and scanned and collected hundreds of copies of Fannin County, Georgia historical photos that people brought or otherwise loaned or donated to the museum or/and to me. Many of the old photos were of old Fannin County schools and school groups for the book we did on The History of Schools in Fannin County, Georgia. I wrote the history of each individual school in Fannin County in the school book by myself alone at my home from my own personal research. I have visited more former Fannin County school sites than any other person and I set the overwhelming number of school memorial stone historical markers in this county. I have visited more former Fannin County grist mill sites and post office sites than any other person in this county. I have written the history of every mill in Fannin County, Georgia by myself alone at my home from my own personal research which I put in my book :Historical Mills of Fannin County, Georgia, 1854-2017.
