|Tamatha Castle||Nathan Howard and Ida C Howard|
I have been searching for my great grandfathers parents. He (James R Howard) was born in 1879 in Carroll co and raised around Jefferson/duckhill area. I noticed on one of Nathan and Ida's census that she had 8 children living but only 7 on the census listed. Do you have the names of all of their children? Thank you
|Cullen and Jeanne||Alice Bennett Taylor (1863 - 1957)|
Alice is my Great Great grandmother. John and Mary Bennett are my Great Great Great Grandparents. I've linked Alice to Mary Howard Bennett.

I did a little more research and found out that John G. Hays II was buried in Scotland Cemetery in MS but the only problem I have now is that I have found out there are 3 Scotland Cemeteries and one Scotland Baptist Church Cemetery in four different counties in Mississippi. Could you go and look up records and tell me which Scotland Cemetery he is in?
|Suzanne H.||Hays-Spouse of Cecelia Garner Hays|
I have been looking on here for the grave marker on John G. Hays II and can't find it by going to the Indianola City Cementry where I did find Cecelia Garner Hays. They are my 4x great grandparents and I am doing a family history. Can you at your convenience try to find it for me.
John G. Hays II was born in 1851 and according to the Census of 1880 they had five children: Mattie Hays, Thomas Hays, Noles Hays and Edna Hays. Later on in March of 1882 they had another daughter named Connie(I have found her grave site). His father and mother's birthplace are here in Alabama, where I live but I have not got that far yet.
thanks for any help you can provide for me.
|Tamatha Castle||James R Howard|
We had spoke once before about the Howards. I was wondering if you know what the R in James R. Howards name stood for? Thomas's son/Nathans father. Thank You.

Thank you so much for confirming the info. about Daniel Garner. Do you know anyting About Irons Garner? When or where he died? His wife name was Martha? What was her maiden name, or when and where did they marry?
Hi. I added his headstone today. While I was out there I also took a pic of Elizabeth Lancaster. I wish I could have gotten the dates but it is over half way buried in the ground.

I strongly believe she was the daughter of the senior Albert Louis Pentecost #35795662 &
Nettie Lee Travis Pentecost #35795586 as she indicated on the 1910 census that she had had two children with only one living (Albert Louis Pentecost, jr plus the fact his tombstone matches hers. But I have no proof. I don't know what B & D records exist in Sunflower County, MS for that time period. I know the state hadn't started keeping death records yet. Are they all buried in the same plot?

Here is his wife: 106936817 RE your note I believe he's buried next to her. I took a 2nd look at site & there is a space but no stone. If you have info on him I will add to a list I'm compiling so that I can check against IOOF burial list. It has been tied up w/volunteers from new cem assoc trying to computerize for almost 2 yrs. I can't help as they don't want the books taken out of office & I could only do working from my home - anyway, will put him & any detail you might have on a 'look see' basis - but I believe we're safe to assume he is in IOOF Gwood.
