I have been working on family history since I married, 40 years now. My husband is fifth generation four different lines and fourth generation on two other lines, in Scott Valley, part of Siskiyou county, CA. So I am able to do a lot of my research right from home.

In the process I have learned a lot of local information. The Whipples, Howards, Jones, Shelleys, Millers, Burtons are just the beginning of families I'm working with. I worked on family history before copy machines, internet and e-mail, but also before some records were closed to public access.

I love history and the mystery of the hunt. I enjoy helping and working with others on this great ancestry hunt.
