I have been doing my genealogy now, for over 20 years.. the chase is almost as much fun as finding those elusive relatives. I am always looking for new cousins..

I do this for fun and to help others in their quests as people have helped me.

If I accept your photo request, please be patient. I go to the cemetery more than once to get the best possible picture with the best possible lighting. Sometimes this means I use the entire two weeks allotted to me as I work fulltime and weekends are best to get the lighting that will make the stones the most readable.

When doing a photo request, I will always check the area for more members of the family or take the others in the plot and post those as well. If you want a high-resolution image, I keep the photo, so please let me know.

I do carry tools to clean around the stones, trim grass and sweep away dead grass, etc. I know what kind of picture I would like to have, and do my best to get the same for you. Some of my earlier attempts are not as clear, so if it is local, I can certainly retake them.

Use of my pictures (unaltered) for your family trees, both personal and on Ancestry is certainly acceptable. All I ask is that you give credit where credit is due and not claim them for your own. Please note where you got them from and leave my watermark on them. If you want to use them in a family book, please ask.

TRANSFERS: I will gladly transfer ownership of any memorial that is not family, if you kindly follow the process. I do not feel that you have to be a close relative to care about putting information on the memorials.

Please send any updates through the "suggest a correction or provide additional information" link on the memorial.
