Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and raised in South Carolina, but moved to Europe in 2007 to marry. My husband and I lived in Northern Germany until 2012, when we moved back to America to be closer to my family.. and were blessed with a daughter in February 2013, who is the love of my life.

Now separated, my days are very busy with work and raising an active 3 year-old. Being a mother is still the journey of a lifetime.. and it's harder doing it alone, but worth every second.

My grandmother got me interested in family history about 20 years ago, and graciously allowed me to be the keeper of her research.. she had been tracing our roots for over 30 years.

Now that she has passed on, I have become the Family Historian and the keeper of records. It is a life-long journey that continues to fascinate, amaze and sometimes puzzle me.. but the path has taught me the value of patience and perseverance - both valuable life lessons.

I have expanded the foundations of my grandmother's research over the years, and now have a large database that grows ever larger! If anyone is interested in my family branches, I will be happy to share and exchange information.

Research branches include (in A-Z order):

- North Carolina -
Albright, Collins, Efland, Fowler, Grant, Gulledge, Haney, Harrell, Hasty, Helms, Rogers, Smith, Stegall, and Swanner.

- South Carolina -
Cameron, Dean, Elliott, Grant, Gulledge, Hasty, Horton, Hough, Hunter, Kershaw, Nelson, Nettles, Peach, Peavy, Rogers, Roscoe, Smith, Steen, Truesdale/Truesdel, West, Williams and Young.

- Tennessee -
Albright, Carroll, Ford, Foust/Faust, Gibbs, Graves, Irwin, Loy, Miller, Ridenour, Rosier/Rozier, Sharp, Snodderly, Steiner/Stoner, Stooksbury, Tillman and Wilson.

I may be missing a few, but will update them as I find others.

FOR ALL EDITS, ADDITIONS, CORRECTIONS AND TRANSFER REQUESTS FOR MEMORIALS I HAVE ADDED OR MAINTAIN - PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON ON THE MEMORIAL (SAC). PUBLIC MESSAGES LEFT ON MY PROFILE MAY NOT BE UPDATED, AS I DO NOT ALWAYS CHECK MY PROFILE FOR THESE MESSAGES.

Stephen Hasty and Mary Ross
You have solved part of a mystery for me! I see that you list Mary Ross as wife 1 for Stephen Hasty. I knew there was a first wife but not the name. Do you have any documents that state this as well? I am applying for DAR and they need some type of documentation for this. I have a newspaper 1947 article on the Faulk Baptist Church regarding its history and it states that Stephen's first wife is buried there as one of the first which is how I knew there was another wife, but have not been able to find anything other than that. Would the church have records?
Thank you for any assistance you can lend.
Continue the good work!

James Hamilton 6th Earl of Abercorn
You made something nice for me so here's some more for you. Look at James Hamilton, 79481756. Look at the Flowers.

The 7th Earl was the
Grand Master of the Premier
Grand Lodge of England
1725–1726

The 8th Earl died without issue so this title devolved by special remainder, with his other titles, upon his nephew John, son of his brother John.

The 9th Earl also became the 1st Marquess of Abercorn.

Later, there were several Dukes of Abercorn. The play in the linage of Diana, Princess of Wales.

How much more would you like. My favorite Science Fiction computer is Mycroft Holmes in Robert Heinlein's "The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress" He is explaining about the area in North America call Wyoming to a woman named Wyoming Knott. When told that he had said enough, he replied that he had several hours more at Speech Speed. I have several hours more on this, the linage of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, at Speech Speed. Want more?

Just sent some automated edits for your memorial. Two successive generations of men with that name had been combined into one. Hope all is well.

Roscoe Family
Mrs. A. I. Carroll-Zimmer, my name is Ronnie Craig Roscoe and I was born in Cheraw, South -Carolina in Sept. 1955. I am retired police officer from the Cheraw Police Dept. and the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office. As I reach the age of 60 and time flying by, I find this emptiness of trying to trace my family roots to find out who and where my origin began. As I began this process, I came across your post on http://www.findagrave.com where you left a picture of flowers in loving remembrance to James Riley Roscoe and Anzilla Gulledge Roscoe who are my great grandparents. Their oldest son William E. Roscoe and his wife Jemima Rosenell (Brock) Roscoe are the parents of my dad Olin Boyd Roscoe dob 08/10-22 / dod 05/09/1992 (Cheraw) and my mother Shirley Roscoe who is still alive and living in Cheraw. As I noticed in the history listed on http://www.findagrave.com I saw where my great, great, grandparents are Oliver Roscoe and Caroline Steen however I have no known former addresses, DOB, DOD, nor any siblings. I do not know for sure, but I believe your connection to the Roscoe family tree, is either through my great grandfather, James Riley Roscoe (1856 - 1923) or my great grandmother Anzilla Gulledge Roscoe (1867 - 1952). However, I was hoping that you might have other important information that would help me as I continue my journey of tracking my family linage.
