Please feel free to use any pics that I post on Findagrave and please contact me about any changes or transfers. I took them for each of you to have!

I have been doing geneaology since 2007. My sister and I have been going to different cemeteries around our county and taking pictures of headstones and adding them. We have been successful at finding a few cemeteries hidden on people's properties. We do not have family ties in these cemeteries, we do it to help everyone else. We also do it to document old graves before they are long gone and no one knows they were there. I have been searching for several family graves in other states for years. I hope someone comes across them one day and I hope we come across one that you are looking for one day!

Sherman and Lillian Weddle
Thank you so much for transferring their memorials to my care. That was very generous of you!

Weddle / Weddell family
Hello! I've submitted some edits for Sherman Weddle and Lillian Weddle who are related to me (first cousins 2x removed). I have a copy of Lillian's death certificate which proves that she was Sherman's sister, not his wife.
One of the edits is to connect them to their parents who died in California (the family used several different spellings of the last name, and WEDDELL ended up on the headstones for their parents).

RE: Clematis
Please have a look at Bethel Grove when you're driving around south of Davenport and East of Sparks. I think it will be my next project in digital restoration. The County History (p. 297) has a good article on it, but I wonder about the graves that the writer was unable to see. Can you now visit all the graves, or is some of the cemetery still fenced off as private property?

Please send photos if you take some:

RE: Clematis
Misty, I don't know when I have mentioned Climatis to you. It must have been some time ago. But yes I do I have a Climatis project on a far back burner. I'm afraid now that I may never complete it, barring unforeseen inspiration.

I did do a lot of work learning about who's buried there and their stories as they appear in the old social columns, but I haven't looked at it now for a couple of years. I was thinking of doing a small book, but who would want to buy it? I had it linked to the rise and demise of the Socialist Party in Oklahoma, but even that may not give it enough readership.

Are you aware that Climatis is an old name for what is now called Victor Cemetery? The posted sign used to carry both names. I think the new sign does too. A few miles south of Davenport.

I have no family buried there, but I did erect some memorials for people who had not been previously listed on Find A Grave.

Don Sporleder is the resident expert on all things in and around Davenport, but I haven't even been able to get him to review my Billy Grayson book, so I expect no support from him.

Are you interested in Climatis? If so, please tell me why.

RE: Frisbie family in Oak Park Cem.

Right about the direction of McCorkle, sort of. The turnpike is near by. More directly, go two miles and a bit more due west on the Lake Road. We got the city out there about two years ago to do a restoration. There was an article about it in the paper.

Thank you for your generosity in letting me have the four Frisbies, in spite of being no kin. You do manage some of my Lincoln County kin, however. I'll take advantage of your generosity by asking you for a half dozen of them. I'll put the data together and get back to you in a week or so.

Thank you for that burial correction. I see that I have duplicated her burial and will ask that they be combined and will delete mine.
