My wife and I are avid genealogists and enjoy visiting cemeteries in our travels. We both have our cameras ready and always check for photo requests and try to fulfill them. I'm very pleased to say I have transferred over 1400 of the memorials I have created to family members of those individuals. Don't be bashful about asking for a transfer.
