I began this journey to discover who my ancestors were, how they lived and where their dreams took them. As a very young child, I lived and dreamed myself inside the contents of three suitcases and two scrapbooks that were filled with photos and keepsakes from my parent's childhoods and glimpses of the grandparents I never knew.

Yet...this was only the beginning.

I began my research just prior to the death of my mother in 2007 and it has become not only my favorite pastime, but almost my driving purpose. I had hoped to find many things when I started, but what I was not expecting was to find new family members, amazing cousins and a community of genealogist who are beyond generous, who take photos, share research and go above and beyond to help bring you closer to those who came before.
