Hi, my name is Gail Hinton Seward, I live in Illinois. I have been researching my family for 50yrs, since I was 15. Family names are: Hale/Weaver/Spangler/Heneger/ Tarter/ Stanger(VA) in TN and IL, Hintons around the Fisher, IL area and McAtees around the McLean Co and Ford Co, IL areas, Waggoners from Edgar Co, IL., Martin Williams family of Colfax, McLean Co, IL.
I have a Hinton Family History book that was self published by Daisy Hinton Bonner in 1980, Daisy passed away in Jul 2012 at 109 yrs old...with this as my guide and I have continued her research that she shared with Harley and Ethel(Wright)Hinton, I have found some new cousins as they did and have been having a good time conversing with them.
By the way, my photo is my mom, Margaret Hale - Hinton and her 2 sisters, Dorothy Hale - Ishmiel - Porter and Irene Hale - Hinton...
I hope to meet more. 2020 has been a super sleuthing adventure, I have opened up a new world to some of us, got new cousins, loving this....learned more of my Spangler history.....where they originated from....just because I have not responded to you right away, your info has not gone un-noticed & I am working on your helpful info......I will either ask you more questions so I can make my search better, when I get more info & will send it too you.....Have a great 2021....
