Bio

I have been working on my genealogy since I was a teenager, when my paternal grandfather, Harry Franklin Barth's (1895-1991) aunt Emma Ethel Yonkin Hartford (1885-1974) gave me a lot of information about my grandfather's and her family. Then I was onto a life-long treasure hunt! I wish I had been able to get more information when she was alive, and also on the other sides of my family, but I think Aunt Emma would be pleased that she spurred my interest. My cousin Dianne has worked with me on my maternal grandmother's line, and I recently found a new cousin Chris, and we are researching a lot of the lines on my paternal grandmothers side. The LDS local history library has been helpful to find my father's ancestry in Alsace, France. I even have a cousin I have been emailing in Paris!

I am researching the following names:

Wiedrich, Sutton, Bauter, Dittman, or Ditmann, Powell, Hopkins, Purdy, Bahr, Barth, Yonkin, Hartzig, Hofmann, Scarborough, Hardy, Hall, English, and Russell, to name a few. Most of my ancestors hail from New England, New York, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Anxious to share finds, especially from my Russell family from NYC- Amanda Russell Hardy, Henry Russell, Isaac Russell. They have been elusive!

Please feel free to email, or send edits to any of the graves that I am managing. I have placed family pictures on many of the family members.
