Well, the other choice would be to send Jean edits to her original. If she doesn't respond, the edits will automatically be made by the system. Then you can delete the duplicate.
That is the way I would handle it. I would never ask someone to delete the original just because I had more information. She did, after, obtain the headstone photo, probably from a photo request. And the rules do say to not to knowingly create duplicates.
I'll let you decide!

You created a duplicate. The original was created in 2014 with the name that appears on her headstone. The California Death index also has her as Hazel Vona Murray.

Peggy Joan Hall, longtime Chandler resident and teacher, died May 9 in Tucson at the age of 77. Peggy was born May 9 1933 in Pollock, Missouri as the oldest child to Samuel and Waldeana Holliday. Her family moved to Tolleson, AZ when she was two years old. Peggy graduated from Tolleson High School and Arizona State University, where she was a "Devilette" cheerleader, and later received her Master's Degree from ASU. She married Charles A. Hall in February of 1953 and lived in Chandler, AZ for the next 53 years where they raised their family. Peggy taught 2nd grade at Galveston Elementary for 27 years. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Charles A. Hall, her son Robert L. Hall and her brother Samuel Holliday. She is survived by her son, Rev. Sam Hall Darleen; daughter, Claudia Schumacher Daniel; sisters Janice Adair, Sherry Thomas Anthony and Jarrie Holliday; grandchildren, Kim DuBois Ray, Shaney Stewart Grant, Bobi Martinez Christopher, Garrett Hall Rachel, Clayton Hall, Lauren Hall and Joy Hall; eight great-grandchildren, Ryan and Amber Steele, Mariah, Taylor Rose, and Gabriel Martinez and Jordan, Megan and Sydney Stewart. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 15 at the Chandler First Church of the Nazarene, where Peggy and Charles were members. A lunch reception for all will immediately follow the service. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" John 11:25-26 Peggy believed!
