Bio

Just a father and mother who lost our youngest precious son a few days ago on Dec 17, 2007.
Our Son Michael: Unfortunately, Mike had been suffering from depression over the past 15 months and lost his internal battle just before the Christmas break while away at college.
His parents, brother, sister, relatives and friends all loved him dearly and we know in our hearts that he loved us. Michael was never one to intentionally/conciously cause harm to his family or anyone. Rather, his ambition was to become a doctor, serve in the Peace Corps and help those less fortunate in China/Africa.
For these reasons we know that the disease of mental illness/depression took his life; the final act was beyond his control and not truly his choice. We tell ourselves in many ways that he couldn't have really understood what was happening in those last hours.
We know that Michael is now in God's hands, at peace, happy and whole again. However, for us left behind we grieve for our loving son, brother, uncle and friend. We find it extremely difficult to understand why God called our son so soon. Still, we have a hole in our hearts and so many unanswered questions.
Please remember our Michael in your thoughts and prayers. To the users Troll and Jeff Duffman, we thank you for creating the site and posting our son's obituary and photo's.
God's Blessings to all,
