Each and every life is worth living, loving and remembering.|
My husband and I enjoy finding monuments for other people and am extremely grateful to the volunteers who have found my own people for me. We've been working on finding the little pioneer cemeteries in the area and putting their inhabitants online. Four of our memorial pages even helped to catch a gravestone thief. Cemeteries are extremely vulnerable to vandalism, theft, negligent cattlemen, and the damage of time and weather. We appreciate all of the volunteers out there who are working so hard to document them before they are lost to history.

I'm not a numbers addict or collector, but I adhere to Findagrave policy:
◊Find A Grave's primary purpose is a graves registration website.
◊Find A Grave's secondary purpose is a memorialization/remembrance site.
◊Find A Grave's tertiary purpose is a genealogical resource.
Transfers are only made within the guidelines set up by Find A Grave. "The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it." I am willing to consider transferring ownership to you if you have a close family member among my records. I rarely transfer relationships more distant than first cousin... just having someone "in my family tree" or "a relative" will not elicit a transfer.
If you want information added to a memorial, go to the memorial and use the "Edit" tab to send me the information-- including family links. I will add information to the memorial, I do not transfer just because someone wants to add links or other information. Bottom line: what are you planning on doing with the entry that I haven't already done or am unable to do?
On the other hand, if you upload family photos or in some other way add value to the memorial, I am much more willing to transfer. I will always transfer a memorial if you sponsor it.
I welcome all corrections to my own work. Some records were imported using OCR so have inevitable errors, both from the original records and from machine interpretation. I am only human and make mistakes, too, but will always make it priority to correct them.

Thank you so much for taking this photograph. It always seems a bit sad when no marker is found. Judy

Thank you for the picture of Archie's grave. In looking at his page, I also noted that you added more memorials for his family last October. That helped me fill in my family tree a little more. Thank you for your great work!

I believe she is buried in Dreisbach Cemetery, not Lewisburg Cemetery. I sent a message to the person who posted her memorial in Lewisburg Cemetery. Her death certificate on Ancestry shows her buried in Dreisbach Cemetery. Her headstone photo on FindAGrave shows "Martha" but the dates are correct. Father was Charles Dreisbach.
Thanks so much for getting that photo for me! Hopefully, this will reveal whether or not it is the right person the new contributor was looking for!
Thank you for the update and then the TRANSFER of my father and his parents! What a wonderful treat! I am anxious to get nice bios up for my grandparents~
I appreciate all of the work you have done on Find-a-grave! I see your names on the pages of many of my relatives. I can appreciate all of the time and effort that you have put into creating and maintaining all of the Memorials - let alone the time and fuel to chase down burial sites to get the pictures.
May you be blessed!

I added the photo I took of Milton Kichline but it is not that great because the stone faces north. The only time I can get a good picture will be in June when the day is long and the sun comes around on it. His stone is almost next to my husband's 2X Great Grandfather and that was the only time I could get a good photo. I will retake the photo of his stone them. His wife, Lucy is directly behind him and her second husband, Elmer is next to her. My photos of them were not good at all. I think Cora is probably buried in an unmarked grave next to Milton since that would make four in the plot. I will check the cemetery records and let you know.
