I'm a mother of 3 boys. My first born son Christian Lee Smith was Stillborn. I was the passenger in a car accident when I was 5 months pregnant and I had my seat belt on. Because of the horrific car accident my son lost his life and I almost lost my own. I think about and miss my son everyday. I don't understand the reason why such things happen. However, I do know that my loss has given me great appreciation for life and the lives of my living children. The tragedy has taught me to love more deeply than I could have ever imagined possible. Though my son died and I wish he had not, he did not die in vain. He's loved and cherished always.
