I am very passionate about doing genealogical research. I have found the Find-A-Grave website very useful and I am trying to post as many memorials as possible in order to help other people find the burial locations of their ancestors. If you have any additional information about any of the people I have posted memorials for, or would like me to transfer ownership, please contact me.|

Hi again Mary! I thought I would fill you in on a few details of my life. I graduated from Carl Hayden High School in 1966, and went into the Marine Corps in May, 1968. I spent one year in Viet Nam near Da Nang at 11th Marines Headquarters Battalion. I was married in July 1971, but divorced in November 1988. I have 2 children, Christopher, born May, 1974, and Tracey born April, 1981. Christopher has a son, Anthony & a daughter, Stephanie. Tracey has a son, Jordan and a daughter, Kayla.
During the 80's & 90's, I traveled around the west half of the country and visited most of the national parks and monuments. In 1985 I toured several states and also spent several days in western Canada. In 1987 I climbed the highest mountain in Colorado. I've traveled all over Arizona and also climbed the highest mountain in Arizona (Mount Humphrey's) several times. Now days that I'm older, I usually do short trips around Arizona and do lots of photography, a lot of which I post on my Facebook page. I've got 315 people following me on Facebook, and I get a lot compliments on my photos. I also post my photos on a site called "Capture My Arizona", a contest type of website by PBS. I also post my photos on a site called "Pixoto"' which is sort a contest and also where you can buy prints and enlargements of all the photos that are posted. Here is the address of Pixoto, if you're interested in seeing some of my photography: http://www.pixoto.com/rwsteve Also, here also is the address of Capture My Arizona: http://www.capturemyarizona.com/users/RWSteve Let me know if you like my photography? So far, at 68 1/2 years old my health is still good. I'm fairly active, I exercise every morning, and ride my mountain bike every afternoon. I try to average at least 15 miles per day. I started recording my daily mileage shortly after I retired and started riding daily in March of 2010. Now I'm up to 46,450 miles! Last Fall, I tried to see how far I could ride in one day on Sundays, the day with the least traffic. I think I started out at about 45 miles one Sunday, but eventually got to 60, then 65 & finally 70 miles in one day. Then one day I left early and made it 80 miles in about 10 hours, traveling though about 6 different cities. I've also gone bicycle touring several times , 50-60 miles out of town to the desert carrying all my camping gear including a small tent & sleeping bag. Lots of hard work but great to be out of the city for a while.
Well, enough about me, I was wondering where in Florida do you live? Got to have better weather than Nebraska. What are Sheila and Chris up to these days?? I tried finding them on Facebook & Google, but couldn't really find anything. Also, the reason that I found this site was because I googled Carl Leddy, was wondering if I could find out anything about him since he was born the same day as myself. I was really surprised to see that he passed in 2004, only 56 years old. Do you know what happened to him? Also didn't know that he was a Lt. Colonel. What does your son do? I don't suppose you're on Facebook.. I almost always use Facebook to keep in touch, rarely use my phone any more.
Where you asked about me doing genealogy, I 'm really not doing much of that , although my mother did a lot of that while she was taking college courses back in the 80's. I found out in 1994 that my dad's side of the family has a branch that live on Vancouver Island, B.C., with the last name of Botel. My grandfather or great-grandfather's brother moved there from Germany in the late 1800's when my grandfather or great-grandfather moved to Omaha. There's a Botel Park and a Botel Lake near Winter Harbor where they lived back in the 90's. I've been keeping in touch with my (second?) cousin, Sandra Botel on Facebook since 2009, although she recently went offline, so haven't heard from her in a couple of months. Are all the Leddy's still in Nebraska? Do you remember the last time I visited Nebraska in August of 1963? My mother & little brother and I spent a week in Lincoln, then spent a week at my grandparents house near Ashland. Seems like such a long time ago, the last time that I saw any of my Nebraska relatives. My dad's brother, Uncle Ed & family visited us in 1966, but I can barely remember that.
Well, I'm kind of rambling on, so I will finish this and send, keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. Say hi to Jesse for me, not sure what relation to me he would be?
If the Facebook link below works, it's a recent photo of myself camping in the desert last Thursday night... There's nothing like a night in the desert!!

|Larry Hart||Daniel Davidson|
Daniel merger davidson was married to my Grandfather, George Hart's sister, Matilda Hart. she was born in Steuben county, indiana, and died and is buried in Mitchell Cemetery, near Omaha, Putnam county, missouri. I have all the material I need regarding her family. HOWEVER, I know next to nothing about Daniel Davidson background. He was born (1847) in Effingham county, Illinois, a son of James T. Davidson (the 6th of 8 children). It would be absolutely "fabulous" if you could add anything to my search. My name is Larry E. Hart, and my E-Mail address is email@example.com
Thank you for your time.
|Bill Hawkins||William M Neighbors|
I find there are duplicate memorials for William M Neighbors -- yours #51918331 in the Mitchell Cemetery, Putnam County, Missouri, and Dora's #166386560 in the Jerome Cemetery, Appanoose County, Iowa. I have submitted substantial additional information to Dora's memorial. You identify his first two wives: (1) Elsie Mary Williams whom he divorced, but with whom he had a daughter, Mary A. Neighbors, born in 1919, and (2) Mary Inez Carter who died shortly after they were married. He had a third wife (3) Lillie I Yost with whom he is buried in the Jerome Cemetery. He was apparently buried with his third wife, not his first wife. My interest in the Neighbors comes from my project to complete the missing gravestone pictures and to add new memorials for all of the other persons buried in the Jerome Cemetery.

Thank you for replying, I just found this!
Apparently there are no stones or markers.
May I ask where the original documents might be to show these two are buried here?
|Loistel||Benjamin Mattox 61622386|
My great grandmother was married the 2nd time to Benjamin Mattox. He had been married before to the mother of his 7 children and so he is buried with her in the Dry Grove Cemetery in Coles County. Not in Campground Cemetery in Paradise, Coles County.
Will you change this, please?

Sorry I took so long to reply. My Edwin Momroe is not the same who married Eliza Fowle. I've already researched that and none of the dates fit. He is still a mystery!
|Jo Beth Reilly||Henry Jackson Mills Reynolds|
My Mother was Jane Reynolds born 1923 in Mattoon to Claude Reynolds and Ruth Armstrong ( 1894 Mattoon). His father was A.M Reynolds. These Reynolds are in Dodge Grove ( not my mother )
Henry is my GG grandfather - I just recently learned this and I believe his father was a Benjamin F. Reynolds - married to a Nancy (?)
What do you know about Henry and what was his wife's last name
Do you know any more about this family and where Benjamin F. was both - I have information saying he was born in 1760 but not sure if that is correct.
Send any Reynolds information to me at : Cartgirltoo@gmail.com
Thank you and I guess we are related somehow ?
|David Reese||RE: Pvt Isaac Goar|
Let's work together on this for our great grandfathers! I think the DAR in Coles County will help too. If you like the idea send me an email suggestion under Isaac's memorial site and then we can correspond by email!
