Bio

I wish to express my gratitude to all those very kind and genealogy conscious people who add the links and make the changes I have suggested.

Maiden names for the women is especially important and will aid all future researchers. Family names for the women often get lost when they marry. Listing 1st and 2nd husbands also is very important.

My goal is to link all family members together: parents, spouses and children. This will enable any and all researchers to find family members and complete their research for all generations. Future generations will then be able to connect with their past.

My interest in genealogy started just before my 1998 retiremenet from Federal Civil Service.

I am a direct descendent of Daniel "Old Daniel" Maupin and his wife Margaret Via as follows:

1. Gabriel & Marie Hersent Maupin
2. Daniel "Old Daniel" & Margaret Via Maupin
3. Jesse G. & Lucy Jones Maupin
4. Mosias Cyrus & Leah Downey Maupin
5. William & Sarah Perkins Maupin
6. Elisha Leander & Sarah Elizabeth Hinton Maupin
7. William Clayton & Eliza Cook Maupin
8. Emmett Eugene & Ida Myrtle Springer Maupin
9. Eugene Lindel & Rose Lucile Emerick Maupin
10. Bonnie Lucille Maupin & Daniel Huth

My parents were both born in Lincoln County, Missouri. Other family was from Franklin County, and Gasconade County. So I try to connect all that I can; therefore, I research and find info on all Maupin family.
Main names researched include
Maupin
Emerick
Hartzell or Hartsell (with or without 2 lls)
Kaiser
Springer
and other names that became family by marriage.

I married Daniel Huth who is from San Antonio, Guadalupe County, and Karnes County all in Texas.
Main names researched include
Huth
Magel
Beyer
Ulrich or Ullrich
Albrecht
Klein
and other names that became family by marriage.

Info on the Huth family is rather limited but I am always on the lookout for any info I can find. His great-grandfather Christian Frederick Huth died in Oklahoma in about 1890, but I have been unable to locate his burial site.

I continue to hope that someone will post the location.
