Bio

I started my genealogy journey in 1976 when my daughter was born. I have met and found very many wonderful cousins and family thru my researches. I find so many stories and adventures in findings and am so fascinated by the fact it is my history.
I have found Revolutionary Patriot Abel Doty, Samuel Cannon, David Lister, Robert Leeds, Jacob Waggoner and Moses Wolf, which I am now a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
I also discovered that I am a direct descendant to Daniel Leeds and am a member of the Colonial Dames through him.
I am working on becoming a member of the National Daughters of American Colonist thru David Provoost and also plan to join Society of Daughters of Holland Dames thru him.
I am a member of the Edward Doty Society and am still working on documents that will lead to me joining the Mayflower Society.
I have been a chapter registrar for DAR for 4 years and State Application Team volunteer for 3 years now. I started The Children of American Revolution in our area. We have been active for 5 years now. We have 18 members.
I truly love helping people find their connections to their families and find it even more interesting and satisfying when I find my own.
