I have a historical interest in the subject matter of this site and I do enjoy visiting and paying my respects to various cemeteries around the country and visiting the graves of famous historical figures.

When photographing stones and memorials I always attempt to get enough detail so genealogist and family members can read the inscription while capturing enough of the surrounding area so people can get an idea of the setting. The intent is to create a pleasant experience for anyone visiting family or an old friend.
