I have always been interested in tracing my family history, even as a young child. Now that my relatives are getting older I want to try to gather and preserve as much information as I can.

Some of the family surnames that I research are all the varients of Hoffert, Raifsnider, Reppert, Hartman, Furillo, Bowers, Wagner, Meyer, Merkey to name a few. I have helped many of my extended family and friends with their trees as well.

I am willing to manage any and all memorials for my family surnames (especially any varients of Raifsnider/Ralphsnider as I am working on all these families members in attempt to located my direct lineage). Feel free to transfer and try to post a message giving me a heads up.

I recently have branched out into DNA Ancestry research. I have assisted close and distant family members in finding their birth parents as well as friends or other DNA matches in the same situation.

I have been researching African American families from Berks County and surrounding areas, after finding my own A.A. ancestors. Also will be expanding into Schuylkill Canal history. Any one working in these areas that wish to collaborate (or need help), I would love to hear from you.
