Bio

I don't mind transfers, just ask, and edits are greatly appreciated. I enjoy taking photos of gravestones and adding them to Find-A-Grave and Familysearch.org, using their resources to connect family members. My parents were Suzanne and Eugene Cunningham; grandparents were Edward and Eloise Owens and Clarence and Iva Cunningham, all of Plymouth, NC. Suzanne's dad was Edward Owens, his line is Owens from Tyrrell/Currituck County, much work has been done by many others on this line. I have a copy of Alyce Sumrell's 'Owens Family..' book, heavily annotated! Edward's mother was Lucille Willie ('Dear-Dear') from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. My mother's mother, Edward's wife, was named Eloise. She was my dear grandmother Weezie, born Catherine Eloise MacArthur, in Duplin County, NC. Weezie's older sister Shell worked at the Library of Congress, and did years of genealogical work on the MacArthur and Friar family lines. My Dad's Cunningham and Young lines are in Richwood, WV, where my husband's Dotson line is also located. Husband Rodney's mother was born Alice Myers in Cherry, NC, and we've very much enjoyed photographing gravestones in Washington and Tyrrell Counties. Veronica Haskett's 'Cemeteries of Washington County, Vol's 1 - 4,' has been a wonderful and indispensable guide.
