I am the grand-daughter of John Henry Blakley, daughter of Emmett VanBuren (Knute) Blakley. I live in Lincoln, NE. I moved here in 1979 after spending 30+ years in the Pacific Northwest.

John Henry married Ruby DeFord and had one child, Knute. John Henry had one brother, Ernest. Ruby died in 1958 or 1959. John died in 1964.

Knute married Rose ________ and had one child, Robert Frances. Marriage date and divorce date of Knute and Rose are unknown. He married (date unknown) Betty J. Wells (place unknown) and had one daughter. Knute died in an auto accident in 1967. Betty died in 2000.

My half brother is Robert Francis Blakley who has 3 living children, Shawn, Christine and Scott. His 3rd son Brian Emmett died during a military reserve week in the 1980's. Robert Blakley lives in Omaha, NE with his wife Diane.

My cousin, Georgia Lee Blakley Stucki, is the daughter of Marie and Boyd Blakley. Georgia Lee and her husband Warren live in Savannah, MO.

It is my understanding that I also have cousins in the Cornelius family tree.

It is my goal to put together a family tree for my children and grandchildren. Since the Blakley line is much smaller than my mother's family I thought I would start here. Anyone having suggestions, information, etc. please jump in and help this confused branch of this tree.
