Bio

Even though I really enjoy researching my family history, my purpose and calling in life is to serve as a missionary for my Lord Jesus Christ. I serve through World Gospel Mission (Marion, Indiana) in Bolivia, South America, which has been my home since 1986. I am an ordained minister, a seminary professor and have been somewhat of a writer.

I was born in Ohio, spending much of my growing up years in that state. My wife is a New Englander and our two children were born here in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.

My interest in genealogy began when I started sifting through old papers and boxes of photos following the death of my maternal grandfather in 1979. It is a fun hobby of solving mysteries of the past and learning more about history.

I hope some of the information and photographs that I'm posting will be a help to others in their own quest to learn more about their family roots. If you think we share some common ancestry, I'll be pleased to share what I know.
