Find a Grave ID

Bio

Single mother of two sons ~ 1 has 2 legs the other has 4.

Spent my adult life working in customer service and as a caregiver to terminally ill friends and family. I have watched dementia and Alzheimers destroy memories that can never be recovered. It is for that reason I feel that each and every memorial should include as much information as possible. I have been told that this site is merely a database for locations of graves. And it is my opinion that if that were true we wouldn't be posting flowers & messages. We wouldn't be adding photos and bios. We would have nothing more than John Smith row 4 plot 7 Sunny Acres Cemetery.

~~~~~ABOUT PHOTOS~~~~~
Most of my memorials are created from grave photos. I search the site before I create the memorial. If I find that I have created a memorial and subsequently find that it is a duplicate of a BU memorial I send an Edit to the contributor advising them of the grave location and that I have a photo of the grave. If the location is added to the memorial I will post the grave photo and delete the memorial I created.
If the contributor does not respond or update the location within 30 days then I will keep my memorial and it's photo in place. As per the site guidelines the contributor is supposed to update the location within 30 days of creating it.
If I have posted a picture of a grave marker it is a picture that I have taken myself. I place no monetary value on these photos. I took the pictures to create or complete memorials and provide photo documentation of the grave site. If family or friends would like a copy of the grave site photos they are welcome to them.
